Dear Mr. Hardy,

I had the pleasure listening to you speak at my Northern Ohio PGA section meeting last Oct., and I went out to Kierland last March for your two day seminar. Your two day seminar with Mike LaBauve, Rick Sellers, and all the staff was one the best things I have ever done for my teaching career as a PGA Professional. Just today, my section (the Northern Ohio PGA) awarded me as their 2008 NOPGA Section Teacher of the Year.  I'm someone who believes that awards like this don't come without help from family and friends. So, I wanted to personally thank you for helping make me a stronger and more confident teacher. As a side note I also had one of my best years finishing as one the top 10 players in the section. So, thank you again for making the two main reasons I got into the golf business (teaching & playing) the most enjoyable for me.

Sincerely,

Jon Jones, PGA

Chris & Rick:

I want to thank you for saving my golfing life at your March 27 & 28 golf school. Because of a back injury sustained 38 years ago, playing golf was becoming a chore. I rarely hit the ball solidly, had no idea where it was going, and was just not having fun.

Something positive had to happen or I was going to give the game up. So I signed up for one of The Plane Truth Golf Schools.  The results are amazing.

By applying the principles of the One Plane Swing in the month since the school I am hitting the ball more solidly than I ever have. I'm in control of where the ball goes, and there is no back pain.

More importantly, my enthusiasm for the game is back, and I'm having fun playing golf.

Thanks,

Jim,

I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much I enjoyed your golf school in Chicago.  For me, the real fun of golf has been trying to really understand how the swing works.  I knew there were some missing pieces in my conceptual understanding, but couldn't find anyone who could close the gaps in my knowledge of the swing.  I feel like a light was turned on for me and I can't tell you how exciting it is.  It is so impressive that you were able to put so many pieces together. Your short game "stuff" was an unexpected bonus, and every bit as eye opening as the full swing instruction.

Finally, it was obvious that you, Rick and Chris really care that the people attending the schools are learning.  Thanks to all three of you for providing me with my two favorite days in 39 years of playing golf.

All the best,
Chuck

"I hit more solid shots in the two days of the golf school than I had in my entire golf career.  I’ve been playing a lot better, yesterday I hit it about 3.5 feet from the pin on a par 3 , 167 yards using 6 iron, with about 20 people watching, that felt good. This was done using the 1 plane swing.  There is no going back now!"

Mike and Rick,

Your 11 handicap pupil shot 74!

You wanted me to keep you informed as I progress.  I shot 74 last Saturday (69.0/120).  I had 2 doubles, 3 bogies including 3 penalty strokes (water twice & lost ball in a lateral hazard) but that was offset by 3 birdies and 1 eagle.  Certainly, much room for improvement...I delayed in sending a "thank you" until I had "something" to report.  The Jim Hardy class is excellent and the instructors are exceptional.  Thank you, gentlemen!  Please stay in touch.  1-plane works for me.

Take care,

Hello Chris and Rick:

Well after going “backwards” for a week or two (as was expected), thing are starting to go really well.  Yesterday I carded my best ever nine-hole score – a 36.  I played 18 more holes and carded a 47 (lost it for a while) and then came back with a 41.  This is on a very difficult Cattail Creek Country Club course.  Remember, I was a 21 handicap last year (and currently hold an index of 15) so those scores are outrageous for me.  Thought you guys would want to know “you done good”.

Hope all is well with both of you.

Best Regards,

Dear Rick and Chris,

I'm writing to express my appreciation to both of you and Cindy for making my experience at Jim Hardy's two day golf clinic an absolute delight!

I had intended to write before now but have been on the road extensively since the clinic ended.  I did not, however, want to miss the opportunity to thank you for hosting the two best days of golf I have ever experienced.

You immediately created a friendly welcoming environment for all which lead to an open honest exchange of information which I found invaluable.  You provided a wealth of information in clear understandable terms with numerous examples to help us better grasp the many different concepts addressed throughout the two days.

Your personable approach helped immensely as we worked out the "kinks" which by the way seem to be pretty much ironed out (at least for now).  My goal was to better understand the execution of the one plane golf swing and to determine how close I was to being "on plane."  Thanks to your collective efforts I realized my goal and more!

You are truly all professionals and represent Jim Hardy and the PGA with class and distinction.  I consider myself fortunate to have met and worked with each of you and hope that our paths will again cross in the future.

Fondest Regards,
Vinnie
