I know it has been a little while since we've done some blog posts. We've been quite occupied lately as our busy season is actually during the Winter and Spring. You'll soon see a bunch of new changes and things coming out. In addition to the work we've done with growing our instructor base and developing some new tools and features for you the player, I've also been finishing up writing my third book, which will be due out around Christmas. I'm very excited about this one as it is quite different from the first two.
In the following weeks and months, we'll be publishing links in our blog to an online TV series we are doing with the Titleist Performance Institute. TPI is a wonderful organization and it is an honor for us to work with them on projects such as this. The focus of the Plane Truth Show is on helping you better diagnose and correct your ball flights.
The first episode is called "Balls that Go Left". In this episode, we deal with the two most common causes of a ball that flies to the left of the target. The two causes - the path and the clubface - are sometimes misunderstood. In the video, I describe in simple terms what is normally going on in a swing where the ball is missed to the left. My goal is to help you recognize which of these scenarios describes your ball flight miss when you hit a ball to the left. We keep the descriptions very simple and easy to understand. In a follow-up episode coming in the next couple days, we'll show you the ways to fix these misses to the left.
Hope you enjoy it!
