As the father of both the one-plane swing concept and the notion that there are two distinct sets of fundamentals that govern golf swings, I welcome discussion, dissention, observations and questions about these topics as well as other opinions and differing theories about the golf swing and golf instruction. It is my hope that the FORUM membership will represent serious golfers of all ages and levels of ability. Being an expert is not a qualification. A member should be a golfer who is seeking improvement and is willing to share with others the road they have traveled.

As the welcome statement at the beginning of each forum says, the sharing of thoughts and opinions is encouraged so long as they are respectful. Unfortunately, we have seen an increase in the incidence of posts and member interaction which we consider inappropriate. For example, there was a lengthy series of hostile communications on the “FAQ/Greatest Instruction Posts” forum. That entire thread has been removed. Posts provoking or expressing hostility have been removed. Signatures and avators of an offensive or inappropriate nature have been deleted.

The Jim Hardy Golf Forum is like an extension of the golf course as far as behavior is concerned. Moderators will monitor forum conduct with this analogy in mind. On the course we expect each other to be courteous and respectful. We expect the same sort of conduct on this forum. This isn’t a typical internet free for all. Quite the contrary. If the comments and remarks posted on this forum would be out of place among gentlemen and gentlewomen on the golf course, they are out of place here.

Please refrain from posting statements which may have an injurious effect on someone's trade, business or professional reputation or which allege immoral or criminal behavior. Conservative judgment will be applied in moderating any such posts. Please don't make them.

Our strong preference is for the constructive sharing of information, ideas and perspectives on golf. We'd like to see a healthy level of receptivity to different points of view with a bias toward mutual learning rather than adversity and dissension. We'd like to see a friendly, good natured climate, especially on Open Topic threads. But the bottom line is respect. Personal attacks, provocation of hostility (including reciprocation), name calling, discourtesy, obnoxious or offensive behavior -- you get the idea -- all these are not welcome here. The Moderator will enforce these expectations with a bias toward conservatism.

Also, Please be aware that Forum user posts offering to sell or buy used Plane Truth products are not permitted on the Forum. Jim have been battling counterfeit DVDs and non-authorized sales on the internet and elsewhere for some time. Offers to sell other products are also prohibited. Please refrain from posting web addresses advertising products for sale. They will be deleted.
