Don't know why, but everyone's first and last names in their profile are now being used as the "display name" instead of everyone's "username". I changed the settings manually in my profile to correct it, but everyone's real names (if they put them in their profile) are now being shown in the forums.

There are two different fields - display name and username. Don't ask me why, but the software provider thought it important to have both. Most of the members just made both names the same. Some actually made their Display name their first and last names - or it defaulted to this.
In order to improve search functionality, we upgraded the forum software to the latest release and we indexed the database. This made our search function at least usable. However, with any upgrade, there are always a couple little "feature" changes that seem to happen. This seems to be one of them. In the main forums list, it seems to pull the user's display name instead of username. Everywhere else it seems to act normal.
We'll look into it to see if a setting changed in the upgrade. In the meantime, if this bothers people, just edit your profile and make the display name and username the same.
